Connection of Freestanding Electric Cooker and disconnection of old, like-for-like, appliance

The service includes

• Positioning the cooker in the room of choice
• Disconnecting the old cooker
• Install the new cooker and connect to an existing point
• Test everything is working correctly
• Remove all packaging
• Connection engineer will arrive simultaneously with the delivery team

The following is required to ensure a successful install

• Connection must be in a domestic property
• The appliance fits where it is required to be installed
• If there is a cooker hood there must be 65cm between it and the hob
• There is a suitable power point within half a metre of the new appliance
• There are no cupboards directly above the cooker and no combustible materials behind the cooking space
• The existing wiring is not routed under plaster or tiles
• No carpentry or plumbing work is required to enable a successful connection
