Helpful Information

  • 1. How much space do I need?

Before you set your sights on a fridge, make sure to measure your available space carefully. When positioning your new fridge you’ll need to leave a 2-3cm gap around the sides of the fridge and a 5cm gap at the back. This gives the fridge plenty of room for ventilation to make sure it doesn’t over heat and works efficiently.

  • 2. What type should I go for?

Integrated and under counter fridges are ideal for saving space and counter top fridges come in great for students. Freestanding fridges come in all different sizes, if you have the space a large freestanding fridge can be great for big households. Wine coolers are great for storing a collection in premium conditions, whilst drinks chillers are ideal for loading all your cans in without hogging space in your home's main fridge.

  • 3. What features should I look out for?

Most modern fridges now feature top, essential features to help preserve the life of your food items. Auto-defrost means there’s no need to manually defrost anymore, while ‘Super Cool’ is perfect for locking in the quality of your food when you’ve just brought it home from the shop. For family homes, spill-proof shelving comes in really handy, isolating spills to one shelf for an easier and quicker clean-up. Dynamic or multi-flow air keeps the temperature consistent throughout, keeping items fresher for longer, and even quickly recovering the optimum temperature after the door has been opened.
