• Fast and energy efficient induction
  Induction technology works by heating the pan rather than the hob. It's nearly twice as fast as a gas hob and 30% faster than ceramic. To help save on your energy bills it's also 30% more efficient than a gas hob and 25% more than a ceramic hob.
• 9 power levels plus power boost
  Each cooking zone has 9 power levels giving you the flexibility to boil quickly or use a very low heat for simmering or melting chocolate. The power boost will temporarily increase the power to a cooking zone for 10 minutes. After this time you'll hear a beep and the temperature will drop back to level '9'.
• Pan detection
  The hob will only work if a suitable pan is placed on it. If you lift your pan off the cooking zone the pan detection function will automatically reduce the power, helping to save energy. If the pan used is not suitable for an induction hob then a symbol will flash to let you know.
• Pan overheat detection
  If left unattended the hob automatically shuts down before a dangerous temperature is reached.
• Safer to use
  As there is no naked flame or red hot element it's safer to use, plus you can use the child lock to disable all controls.
• Safety shutdown
  If left unattended for a long period all cook zones on the hob are turned off safely.
• Easy to clean
  The smooth surface of the glass is easy to wipe clean.
• Touch controls
  The touch controls are easy to use and the child lock can be used to disable the controls for safety.
• Residual heat indicators
  The residual heat indicators let you know if the hob surface is still warm following cooking.
