You might avoid the lesser known brands because youre not sure of their quality, but theyre often just as good as their more expensive rivals. I was really impressed with its 4K Ultra HD picture which easily rivals the more expensive TVs. Watching the rugby, every bead of sweat and blade of grass were clear to see, which puts your sofa in the middle of the action.

It puts you in control of your viewing too, letting you pause, rewind and fast forward TV. If youre getting to the climax of a thrilling drama and someone comes to the door, you can pause it with the push of a button so you wont miss the key moments. I always find I have plans when something I really want to watch comes on TV, meaning I have to miss it or wait for the re-run the next week but this TV lets you record the programme, so theres no need to miss out anymore. Youll need to plug in a USB memory stick to access these features, but its well worth it!

Sometimes I find smart TVs to be too confusing and packed with apps I’ll never use. I like how this TV offers smart features without going over the top.
