The plate is also more efficient, with induction cooking energy is supplied directly to the pan by the magnetic field, with conventional electric or gas cookers the energy needs to be converted to heat first and this way heat is lost which results in you and your kitchen heating up.
The magnetic field the zone is powered by is also how your pan will be cleverly detected this technology also makes the induction plate safer to use as it is cool to the touch, only heating up when induction compatible cookware is detected.
PRECISE CONTROL
Control at your fingertips with the electriQ induction plates easy to use touch controls. Each touch is followed by a beep to let you know your command has been registered. The sleek control panel allows you to precisely adjust the 10 stage temperature settings, giving you a more accurate temperature. With a digital timer at your disposal you’ll never overcook a meal, when the operating time is over the hob will automatically switch off.
To ensure safety this neat hob has a child lock, rest assured no settings will be accidentally modified if you walk away from the hob. The control panel will also warn you if the hob has residual heat, ‘H’ will show when the zone is at a high temperature and ‘L’ shows when the zone is at a low temperature.
