Leighton Buzzard Busy mum or dad
- Have no real idea about energy consumption (wasn't really a buying factor - as long as it was amongst the better ones and this was), but assume it's good... And functionally it's fine.
- Lots of things. Firstly the Smeg logo was self-adhesive on the front and it hasn't been fitted level (meaning the logo needs to be replaced); next the hinge cover on the top left had been over-tightened so much that it had pulled through the plastic housing completely (meaning the cover really needs replacing to fix); the top left door handle bracket was marked (needing to be replaced to resolve); the lower rear air duct cover was very badly fitted at the factory (meaning it had to be removed and straightened to resolve); the stunning stainless steel front panels are not manufactured/folded along their top edges in a straight line, at least they're not finished with the quality you'd expect from a high-end brand like Smeg. All of this, when the instruction manual talks of 'high-quality' and suggests high 'quality assurance' processes. I'm afraid, compared to the low end competition, they're simply not.
