This AEG 7000 Series tumble dryer is perfect for the busy family home. With an 8kg load capacity you can get plenty done, 40 T-shirts to be precise. Using heat pump technology you’re able to place it anywhere inside the home as it doesn’t need to be vented out. Heat pump technology works by re-circulating the warm air within the dryer rather than letting it escape through a vent, this also makes it much more energy efficient compared to other tumble dryers. In fact the energy consumption is so low, it actually exceeds the requirements for an 'A' energy rating by 40%.
It features a specially designed ProTex drum which takes extra care of fabrics. It improves airflow whilst giving fabrics more room to stretch out, reducing tangling and creasing. There’s a whole host of programmes to choose from and by using ProSense technology it can automatically adjust drying time and energy consumption to suit each laundry load, whether you’re drying a weeks’ worth of laundry or just a days’ worth. You can also select the level of drying you require for each load of laundry. Easy iron reduces your time spent on ironing by 50% whereas the ready to wear option ensures clothes are bone dry, ready to wear straight out of the dryer. You’re also able to use the timer delay option to set the dryer going when it best suits you, so laundry won’t be sat in the drum for hours after the cycle has ended, reducing creasing and preventing odours from occurring.
Sensidry technology draws moisture out of fabrics at half the temperature compared to a conventional tumble dryer, without significantly extending drying temperature. By drying laundry at reduced temperatures it ensures fabrics are never subject to unnecessary heat which means clothes will maintain their like new texture for as long as possible, plus it will save on energy. The machine features an OKOFlow filter system which is extremely energy efficient and easy to clean. Conventional dryers have multiple filters to clean, whereas with this dryer there’s just the one, making it much easier for you to maintain the dryers performance and keep energy usage down.
