London A gadget-mad person
- A luxury to have five burners of varying power, including one suitable for a wok for stir-fry dishes. Woks can also do steaming in Chinese cooking. Easy to clean although the parts round the burners may be more complicated. Value for money and it feels as though the hob is going to last a long time.
- I am used to the ignition as I've lived in Italy. But for a British clientele, the mechanism may be seen as fiddly if not wasteful. It involves pressing down the knobs and slowly releasing the knobs to keep the fire on and going, sometimes requiring doing the action twice. To hold the pots and pans, there is a cross underneath, nothing else. For pans with long handles, they may topple over, so another supporting metal ring may be required. Other than that, I think it is super.
