All of our Washer Dryers get rid of the condensation in the drying phase via the washer waste pipe, so there is no need for a vent. Make sure you take measurements of the area you will place your washer dryer before you purchase.
Sorry, you can only compare a maximum of 4 items per category.
Washers are designed to be a standard width, either 595mm or 600mm, this is so they fit into kitchens which normally have a standard cupboard size of 600mm or 60cm width. You should always measure up to make sure it’s going to fit in the space, including the height and depth (note that you’ll need some extra depth for the pipes and plug). We do have a selection of smaller compact washers which tend to be around 500mm wide. We also have a selection of slim depth washers with a typical depth of 500mm (50cm).
Measure the width, depth and height of the intended space for your washer dryer.
Measure the depth of your space carefully; you need to take into account any pipes and connections at the back wall which may affect the depth of the space.
The washer dryer needs a 3cm gap on each side and a 10cm gap to the rear for good ventilation.
It’s best to place your washer dryer against an exterior wall, so you don’t need to have the waste pipe running along the inside of your home.
And don’t forget to think about the door space, you want to place the washer in a spot where you have plenty of room to load your laundry.
Washer dryer noise levels are measured in decibels.
The higher the rating, the noisier the machine.
A quieter machine means you won't be disturbed, whatever time you use it.
They are ideal for people with young children, for open plan homes, or if you simply like peace and quiet.
What size should I go for?
The larger the load capacity, the more washing it can hold.
Washer dryers have different load capacities for washing and drying. When drying the machine needs more free space for the clothes to tumble around and dry effectively (e.g. Your machine may have a 7kg washing capacity and a 5kg drying capacity).
When loading your machine keep in mind some programmes will wash and dry in one go, so be careful not to overload the machine.
Machines with a 7kg washing capacity are generally adequate for most households.
Larger capacity machines are ideal for big households, they can even take care of duvets.
You should never cram the machine full to the brim, as it can’t perform to the best of its ability.
We have plenty of washer dryers to choose from to suit all households. Our range starts from machines with a 6kg washing capacity.
