It works by exposing your dish to extremely high pressure, locking in nutrients, minerals, vitamins, juices and flavours for results that are not only healthy but succulent and delicious too. Preparing meats in around a third of the time it’d take to cook them in the oven, they’ll turn out to be so tender and tasty you’d be forgiven for not using your oven again. Take ribs as an example. To get them perfect you’d need to slow cook them for around three hours, but not with a pressure cooker. Give them around half an hour and the meat will be failing off the bone.
There’s no guesswork involved with this pressure cooker either, with 13 functions to choose from that provide the perfect conditions for your dish. They include sear, slow cook, manual, rice, multigrain, soup, meat/stew, poultry, fish, steam, beans/chilli, rice pudding and porridge. Simply add your ingredients, lock the lid and choose your function, then you can enjoy the results in next to no time.
