I love that you can simply plug this hob in! You’ll save money too, as you won’t need an engineer to hardwire it. I also like how it’s much safer to use than any other hob, as it heats the pans and not the hob surface. It makes cleaning up a breeze too!
This electriQ induction hob is the perfect cooking companion for any kitchen. It fits in seamlessly thanks to its built-in design, plus it's unbranded so it easily coordinates with all your other appliances. With four cooking zones, there's plenty of space to cook up a storm. Best of all, you can just plug it in and go, there's no need to hardwire it.
As it's an induction hob it uses fancy magnetic coil technology, this means it's not only stylish but also much more energy efficient and safer for the home. It has automatic pan detection, so if you've switched the wrong zone on it won't waste any energy trying to provide heat, as it can't detect a pan. And it's the pan that actually heats up, not the surface of the hob. So there'll be no burnt on food and any spills can be quickly wiped away. It's much safer too, there's less risk of burning yourself. The cooking zone surface will become warm after a long cooking task, however residual heat indicators will let you know when it's back to being cool to the touch.
The hob is controlled with sleek touch controls, located front and centre for easy access. They can be locked, ensuring safety and preventing any settings from being tampered with. There's also a timer, allowing you to set a specific cooking time and once the time has passed the cooking zone will switch off, preventing any over cooking or burning. You can also use it as a simple minute minder to alert you when your set time has ended, rather than switching off. Each cooking zone has 9 power levels, so you can achieve accurate temperatures. If you're using a single zone the hob can draw all of its power to that one zone, to deliver speedy cooking. If you're using all four zones at once the hob does regulate the heat, so you won't be able to have all four zones on full power at once, but this is what enables the hob to simply plug in!
