They were founded way back in 1948 as Smalterie Metallurgiche Emiliane Guastalla and have continued to grow ever since. Smeg combine modern technologies and methods with tradition and heritage to create products that are truly timeless. This heritage is reflected in the fact that Smeg's headquarters is still only a short distance from the town in which it was founded.
