Keeping it traditional
This chimney hood has the traditional design which never seems to date. With a clean design and a modern sleek twist from the black finish along with no branding this hood has a versatile appearance.
Extract or re-circulate?
This hood can do both, you need to decide which is the best for your kitchen. If you choose to extract you will need ducting to fit to the 150mm connector. If you go with re-circulating the air you need to purchase two carbon filters. The filters should be replaced twice a year to maintain optimum performance.
Push button controls
There are five easy push buttons located to the right hand side of the hood. With a simple push of a button you can activate the light or change the speed of the extractor.
There are three speed settings allowing you to select a speed which is appropriate for what you have cooking. The more steam and odours in the air the higher speed you will need. This hood can extract up to 350 m³ per hour.
Light it up
This chimney hood has a large strip of lighting positioned perfectly at the back of the hood. There are two 40Watt incandescent bulbs in this panel, lighting up your space giving you a clear view of your culinary creations.
Noise?
Extractor fans can often be intrusive when functioning on a high speed, especially if you plan to eat your meal in the kitchen and the fan is still going. This hood reaches a maximum of 58dB. The best thing to do would be to get a head start on your air purifying. Switch the fan on at the start of your cooking and when you come to sit down to your meal the air should be comfortable enough to set your extractor to low or even to turn off.
Please note - The ducting for this ElectriQ chimney hood vents out of the top of the chimney and NOT out of the back.
