The automatic ignition function will light the hob with just a touch of the control panel and the flame failure device ensures the gas is cut off should the flame get extinguished.
Safety is also considered with the BHG112SS as it has a residual heat indicator to let you know it is still too hot to touch and a safety lock to prevent curious little fingers from turning the flame up.
