As a conventional extractor the HTV10K can be installed to re-circulate the air into the kitchen or to be ducted out. If you are choosing to re-circulate you'll need to purchase a charcoal filter from Hotpoint Service and if you're ducting out you'll need a ducting kit with a 100mm diameter.

Question from gareth: Asked on 06/02/2011 i have a cooker standing on an inside wall, can this hood be used without the need for extraction ? also, does the hood need to be specially wired in or does it just plug into a conventional wall socket ? thank you, mr. price
