The fresher the products are, the greater is their value for a healthy diet. The BioFresh safes mounted on telescopic rails ensure the perfect climate for keeping food fresh longer. With the temperature maintained just above 0 °C and an ideal air humidity level, fruit and vegetables, meat, fish and dairy products retain their healthy vitamins, delicate flavour and attractive appearance for up to three times longer than in a traditional refrigerator.
SoftSystem Closing Mechanism
During day-to-day use the SoftSystem closing mechanism increases convenience and is a welcome touch. The SoftSystem, integrated into the door, cushions door closure ensuring soft closing even with fully loaded door shelves. In built-in appliances the door will close automatically from an opening angle of approx. 30°. The white fi nish on the soft closing system matches the door interior for a uniform appearance.
Drawers Mounted On Telescopic Rails
The drawers extend on smooth-running telescopic rails and can be conveniently removed at a door opening angle of 90°.
PowerCooling System
The high-performance PowerCooling system rapidly cools down freshly stored food and creates an even cooling temperature throughout the interior. A door contact switch turns the fan off when the door is opened.This saves valuable energy.
4-star Freezer Compartment
Fresh food can be frozen and kept in long-term storage in the 4-star freezer compartment. Temperatures of -18 °C and lower ensure that food is stored with all the vitamins and minerals preserved.
GlassLine Iinterior
The sophisticated GlassLine safety glass equipment puts the finishing touches to the overall impression of high quality conveyed by the interior. The elegant GlassLine storage shelves are shatter-proof, scratch-resistant and easy to clean. The high-quality stainless steel trims put the finishing touches to the overall design composition. The slide under half shelf option glass shelf lends itself to versatile use.
Pull-out Unit With Full Extension
Models with a cellar-temperature compartment feature a complete pull-out unit. In addition, the IKBV with Soft Telescopic features a convenient self-retracting system with gentle soft stop mechanism. Food and bottles can be stored on two levels. The bottle basket with retaining strip can be removed. On the IKBV, the cellar-temperature compartment can be adjusted independently of the refrigerator compartment from +6 °C to +14 °C, and features its own SuperCool function for fast cooling of freshly-stored food. The cellar-temperature compartment as a replacement for the pantry is ideal for foods which are sensitive to the cold, such as potatoes or onions. Drinks, jams, mustard etc. can be optimally stored at separately controllable temperatures from +6°C to +14°C.
Humidity Control DrySafe/HydroSafe
The humidity control plates allow the air humidity to be set individually in the BioFresh compartments. The DrySafe in the BioFresh compartment with low humidity is ideal for storing meat, fish and dairy products. Fruit and vegetables are best kept unwrapped in the filled BioFresh HydroSafe at a humidity level of up to 90 %.
SuperCool
The automatic SuperCool function lowers the refrigerator temperature down to as far as +2 °C for as long as 12 hours - ideal for rapidly cooling freshly stored food.
Door Alarm
The audible door alarm alerts the user if the door has been open for longer than 60 seconds for safe protection of the food.
Child Lock
The child lock is programmed so as to prevent the appliance being inadvertently switched off.A symbol in the MagicEye indicates when the child lock is switched on.
Reversible Door Hinges
The appliances are factory fitted with door hinges on the right. The reversible door hinges permit optimum use of the appliance wherever it is located.
Built-in Appliances For Integrated Use
The appliances will fit easily behind the kitchen unit door, so they are ideal for integration into a fitted kitchen, thus creating a uniform look.
