Powerful and precise cooking

This ceramic hob has 9 power levels for an extremely precise regulation of heat going to your cooking. For a more powerful heat for larger cookware, use the front left and the back right zones and for smaller cookware and simmer, use the back left and front right zones.

Timer

The HC6620FR ceramic hob has a 99 minutes timer that can help you keep track on your cooking without having to constantly clock-watch or estimate how long a dish has been cooking for. As well as a standard countdown, the timer can also be set to turn one or more zones off when the timer has finished.

Touch controlled

All the functions on this hob are operated by touch controls situated at the front of the hob for easy access. An LED display will light up power levels, residual heat indicators and the timer when they are in use so that you are always aware of what is happening on your hob.

All these controls can be put on lock down with a light touch on the safety key lock button. This will prevent accidental usage of the hob when you’re cooking and when you’re not, so that set temperatures are not disturbed and the hob isn’t being used when it shouldn’t be.

Shatterproof glass

The glass on this hob is ceramic shatterproof safety glass. This means that if the glass were to crack, it would not shatter into large pieces and the damage would stay safely in tact until you were able to sort it out, ensuring that your kitchen remains a safe environment even when damage to the hob occurs.

Safety features

• Auto safety switch off: If a zone is accidentally left on for a long period of time, the hob can automatically switch that zone off. The shut off time depends on what power level the zone is on, which is detailed in the manual.
• Residual heat indicators: This hob has a residual heat indicator for each zone to keep you aware of which zones are still too hot to touch after cooking. The indicator will only go off when it is safe to touch.

Easy to clean

Ceramic hobs are extremely easy to clean. The smooth glass surface can be easily wiped over with a damp cloth or sponge, but if you fancy giving the hob some extra TLC then it’s worth investing in this handy ceramic hob care kit.
