HOW DOES IT WORK?
Induction hobs are considered to be the safest for use in the kitchen. Magnetic coil technology means your pan heats itself, meaning the glass surface does not get too hot.

Safety First
As the hob doesn’t get too hot, it is almost always safe to touch. Brilliant for if you spill anything while you are cooking, you can quickly and easily wipe it away without the risk of burning yourself or the food burning onto the surface.
Parts of the surface will get hot from the heat transferred from the pan, especially after longer cooking jobs. The residual heat indicator tells you if a cooking zone is hot, so you can be extra cautious when cleaning up.

The electriQ Induction Hob senses and will only provide power in each of the cooking zones if a pan is present. This Auto Pan Detection technology not only adds another level of safety to cooking, it also means less energy is wasted if you happen to turn on the wrong zone.

This induction hob directs all of the energy from each cooking zone into the bottom of the pan so the base quickly reaches your desired temperature, therefore cooking your food quicker.
