08719844416The right central heating radiator makes a real difference to how snug your home can be. Plus, with steep energy costs, you need a radiator that delivers the warmth your room needs without unnecessarily taxing your boiler. Find sizes and finishes that perfectly suit your heating system and personal style.
Your central heating radiators are the final step in converting boiler energy into warmth. Choosing the wrong one will inevitably lead to wasted energy or troublesome cold spots. And with the ever-increasing cost of living and high energy bills, you need units that deliver exactly what your system requires.
That’s why we prominently display the full BTU and wattage ratings, including the Delta T test conditions (usually Delta T50), on every single model. Knowing these figures ensures your radiator will function efficiently within your central heating system and won't unduly overwork the boiler.
Sizing errors are, hands down, the most frequent cause of installer confusion and fitting delays. Every single radiator in the listing clearly shows its pipe centres, height, width and depth in mm. Now, you can easily check it against your existing pipework.
Radiators come in different panel formats. A typical heating unit might be a “single panel” (Type 10 or 11) or a “double panel” (Type 21 or 22). Simply put, double panels generally pack a significantly higher heat output for their size, great for a large, chilly lounge.
The material used in the construction of your radiator dictates how it operates. Steel units offer a good balance, heating up reasonably quickly and being cost-effective. Aluminium heats the fastest (perfect for highly responsive systems).
While many homes still rely on gas central heating with relatively high flow temperatures, newer heating sources, such as heat pumps, utilise much lower flow temperatures. That’s why we test all our radiators at Delta T50, as it reflects the realistic, "real world" output when your system water isn't scalding hot. This means you can confidently pick a radiator that’s compatible with both traditional and modern heating setups.
Whether you have a period property or a contemporary new-build, you’ll find the perfect style to match. You can opt for white, grey, black, brass and chrome finishes. We stock both horizontal and vertical options, so even awkward walls or tricky under-window spaces are covered.
