Built for the toughest jobs: Industrial dehumidifiers

You need a robust machine if you’re running a construction site or flood-restoration project. Even for warehouses or manufacturing spaces. Our industrial dehumidifiers are engineered to handle severe moisture loads with extraction rates clearly listed in litres per day (e.g., 30?L/day+), and full performance in low temperatures. They’re heavy-duty commercial dehumidifiers designed for derived spaces and large volumes.

Specs that matter on-site

To ensure you pick the right unit, check the extraction rate (L/day) under realistic conditions. Look at the operating temperature range (for example down to 0?°C or –5?°C for unheated spaces) and the airflow rate (m³/h) for large volumes. If your space is cold (cellars, unheated warehouse), you’ll likely need a desiccant unit. If it’s reasonably warm (above 15?°C), a compressor unit will deliver good efficiency. Getting these numbers spot-on ensures your machine can cope.

Ready for tough site life

You’ll want a unit that survives the day-to-day of industrial use. Think rugged steel casing, heavy-duty handles, large non-marking wheels, stackable or compact for vans and dual-voltage (230?V / 110?V) if you’re using site supply. Look for key features, like auto-defrost for cold UK conditions, continuous operation 24/7 and minimal maintenance so you avoid downtime.

Keep running costs under control

Big jobs often mean big energy use, unless you choose well. Our heavy duty industrial dehumidifiers list power consumption in Watts (W) and often detail litres removed per kilowatt-hour (kWh/L). We also provide cost-per-hour estimates using UK commercial electricity tariffs so you can budget properly. Many models also use low-GWP refrigerants (e.g., R410A) in line with UK environmental regulations.

Install & manage with ease

In commercial situations, you won’t want to empty tanks every hour. Our range includes models with continuous drainage. Just attach a hose and you’re done. Many have built-in condensate pumps (with lift height specified) so you can route out water across floors. You’ll also find ducting options to direct dry air, digital humidistat to set target RH (relative humidity) and 24-hour timers or auto-shut-off for automation.

Protect your staff and assets

Choosing the best industrial dehumidifier means selecting one that supports asset protection, compliance and health. Keeping humidity in the correct range (for example 40-60% RH for stored goods, =50% for some manufacturing processes) helps prevent mould, corrosion, condensation and product losses.

Have a gander at our dehumidifier buying guide to compare features that actually matter. Save time, avoid underpowered machines and get it right first time.
