As it’s an induction hob, it heats the pan directly, not the hob surface, which makes them quicker and up to 70% more efficient than regular hobs. If you leave the hob turned on for a long period of time, it'll automatically turn itself off, so you don't have to worry if you realise you didn't shut it down before you went out.
