• What is the difference between a radiator and an oil-filled radiator?

  A traditional radiator is connected to a central heating system and relies on the circulation of hot water to generate heat. In contrast, a heater oil filled radiator is a standalone heating appliance filled with thermal oil. It heats up the oil, which then radiates warmth into the room. Electric oil radiator heaters are portable and don't need a connection to a central heating system.

• Do oil-filled radiators use a lot of electricity?

  Oil-filled radiators are generally energy-efficient. They use electricity to heat the internal oil, and the heat is then radiated into the room. The lifespan of an oil-filled heater is directly proportional to the temperature of the element, so selecting the lowest setting that heats the room to the desired temperature is recommended.
