If the product purchased is in duct out mode, this kit will allow it to be installed in filtering mode. The filtered air will be conveyed into the cabinet base. A chrome-plated trim profile is provided for any vent slot, made in the cabinet baseboard.

Hi Gary,The Elica Under Plinth Recirculating Kit (KIT0167756) is designed to filter and recirculate air back into your kitchen, not to vent steam and cooking fumes outside the building. If you want full external extraction, this kit is not suitable; you would need a separate ducting kit specifically for venting air outside.Thanks!
