The Hive Active Heating Smart Thermostat enables you to effortlessly take control of your home heating and hot water, simply by the touch of a button.

The thermostat features intuitive controls and has easy to use features which work with modern heating systems. The thermostat allows you to manage schedules and control of your home heating simply via the Hive app. The app allows you to schedule the heating so it can switch on automatically, ready for you to start the day. Forgotten to turn off the heating? No problem! With just a tap on the app you can switch off your home heating saving you money as well as energy.

The Hive app allows you to set daily schedules. Set up to 6 time slots for your heating and hot water, making it work around you and your day to day routine. Set boosts for when you return home on a Winter's day, or shcedule the hot water to be ready for you when you come back from work.

The thermostat is also compatible with Amazon Alexa as well as Google Assistant. Make your thermostat even smarter by using voice control to control your home heating. Simply ask Alexa or Google to 'boost the heating' to give you extra heat for a set time before switching itself off, so you can stay sitting comfortably. The thermostat is suitable for combi boilers, as well as gas, LPG, oil and some electric boilers.

The thermostat features a child lock for avoiding any uneccessary changes, and also has Geolocation, so your Hive thermostat knows if you've gone out and left the heating on. It can also send you a reminder to turn it off. Not only this, but the thermostat features frost protection, allowing you to protect your pipes automatically. When temperatures drops below 7°C inside your home, the Frost Protection turns on your heating to help stop your pipes from freezing. This feature is especially ideal for landlords and home owners who travel.
