  A frost-free fridge freezer will save you time in the long run because you won't need to defrost it. With no ice build-up, your food won't spoil, nor will you lose valuable storage space.

• Do fridge freezers use a lot of electricity?

  Running a fridge-freezer costs around seven per cent of your total energy bill as it's on all day, every day. However, this is usually cheaper than running separate fridge and freezer units.

• Is it ok to run a fridge freezer empty?

  While powering an empty fridge freezer is ok, maintaining a cold temperature will require more energy. We recommend you fill approximately 70% of the space for efficient cooling and optimal air circulation.

• How long should a new fridge freezer run before putting food in it?

  If your fridge freezer was transported upright, wait one hour before putting food inside. But if it was transported on its side, wait four hours. This gives the internal gasses sufficient time to settle.
