As suggested in the name, this oven contains a halogen lightbulb and fan. Using Halogen light to heat the food, the hotter you want to cook, the brighter the lamp will get.
Whilst it seems bizarre that food can be cooked by a bulb, it actually heats up in the fraction of the time as a normal oven and cooks beautifully evenly. In case you're still apprehensive, you can keep an eye on your food through the clear cooking dish.
