The Hamoki EGG-36SX is a 3 burner countertop gas griddle for delis, cafeterias and restaurants cooking steaks, burgers, seafood, eggs and vegetables in volume. Its 900 x 482mm flat plate is heated by three U-shaped burners, each with its own thermostat.
Installation and Connection
Must be installed by a Gas Safe registered engineer. The griddle is supplied for Natural Gas with 2.2mm jets, and an LPG conversion kit with 1.3mm jets is included. An installation certificate is required for the warranty to be valid. The unit measures H39 x W91 x D64cm, weighs 80kg and has adjustable feet for levelling.
Day-to-Day Use and Cleaning
Each zone adjusts from 93°C to 204°C, so different foods can be cooked side by side. A standby pilot makes lighting straightforward and a flame failure device is fitted. Grease runs off the plate into a front-access, removable tray for cleaning at the end of service. Zinc alloy chrome-coated knobs and a stainless steel front stand up to daily wipe-downs.
