Hi, The Refurbished electriQ SupremeCool 8000 BTU Quiet Portable Air Conditioner weighs approximately 28.5 kg. While it is not a lightweight unit, it is fitted with integrated castor wheels, making it easy to move between rooms on flat surfaces without needing to lift it. It is generally only required to be lifted if moving it upstairs or over obstacles such as steps or thresholds.

Hi, The unit cools the room by extracting heat and sending it outside through a hose that needs to be fitted to a window or external vent.
