Hi Georgia, the unit can be vented through a window using the slide bar and fishtail adapter that comes with the unit (these are designed for sash windows). You can also vent the unit through a door if you are not concerned about the temperature in that room. You can also vent the unit through a wall. You will need to drill a 6-inch diameter hole through the wall and cover the end of the hose with a gravity flap. However, our gravity flap SKU: 6inchDS is currently unavailable.
