Question from Eliza: Asked on 21/09/2025 Hello, could I ask how this sink reacts to thermic shocks to hot/boiling water? What this the heat threshold for damage?
Hi Eliza,The composite resin sink is heat-resistant, but not heat-proof, as extreme concentrated heat (like a pan straight off the hob) or sudden temperature changes can damage the resin binder (causing discoloration or cracking from thermal shock). While the sink should handle regular boiling water (approx. 100°C), to prevent damage, you should avoid placing red-hot objects directly on the surface and use a trivet or rack for protection. Thanks!
