Question from Mark: Asked on 23/03/2026 Do I still need a waste for the sink part or does it run into the toilet cestin?
Hi, The sink and toilet in this unit operate as two completely separate systems. The toilet connects directly to the soil pipe via a standard pan connector, while the cistern supplies clean water only for flushing. The sink has its own waste outlet and requires a separate trap, which connects into the property’s drainage pipework. There is no connection between the sink waste and the toilet or cistern — the sink does not drain into the toilet system.
Thank you.
