Hi, The Vax Pace Cordless (SKU:?CLSV-PAKS, Graphite & Blue) does not stand upright on its own. It is designed to be stored on the included wall-mount bracket, not freestanding like some other stick vac models. When not on the mount it relies on leaning or being held, not balancing by itself. Thanks!
