How do you get it to work with the Alexa app?
Hi, To use Alexa, please first connect the air conditioner through the recommended smart app (as shown in the manual), ensuring your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Once the unit is added and working in the app, open the Alexa app, enable the relevant smart home skill (such as Smart Life/Tuya if prompted), link your account, and use “Discover Devices” to add the air conditioner. If you have any issues, please let us know which stage of the setup you are having trouble with.

Hi, The app required for the ELL Como9000 air conditioner is Smart Life. Please download the Smart Life app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, then add the unit by selecting Large Home Appliances → Portable Air Conditioner (BLE+Wi-Fi). Hi, We've checked the user manual, and the ELL Como 9000 does not have an Auto operating mode. The available modes are Cool, Dry (Dehumidify), and Fan, so you won't find an Auto setting on the unit, remote, or app.

Hi, The ELL Como 9000 BTU Smart Portable Air Conditioner comes with a power cable approximately 1.5 metres long and a separate exhaust hose (air vent pipe) that extends up to a maximum of around 1.8 metres, used to vent hot air through the window kit.

Hi,The ELL Como 9000 BTU Smart Portable Air Conditioner does not need to be filled with water or ice, because it is a proper air conditioner that cools air using a built-in compressor and refrigerant system; you simply plug it in and use it, and it only produces condensation that is usually handled internally or drained if necessary.Thanks!

What is the plug socket type? is it UK?
Hi Char,The unit is self-contained for normal cooling, as it automatically evaporates most of the condensation. It only needs to be connected to a drain outlet if you choose to use the continuous drainage option or when manually draining the water tank. The UK model comes fitted with a standard UK 3-pin plug, so it can be plugged directly into a standard UK socket.Thanks!

Hi, The manual confirms the exhaust hose is designed to extend up to 1.5m, but it must not be replaced or extended with a longer or additional hose. Using a longer vent hose can reduce performance, cause overheating, and may affect warranty cover. For best results, the hose should be kept as short and straight as possible.
