Installation & Warranty Information
How does it work? Evaporative air coolers use the completely natural process of evaporation to lower temperatures. As water turns into vapour, it absorbs heat from the air around it, creating a noticeable, refreshing cooling effect. Inside the unit, air is drawn through a high-efficiency honeycomb cooling pad that increases the surface area for evaporation, boosting performance while also acting as a gentle air filter.
Air coolers vs air conditioners – what’s the difference? Air coolers and air conditioners work in very different ways. Air conditioners rely on chemical refrigerants and compressors to cool and dehumidify, performing best in a completely sealed room. Air coolers, on the other hand, thrive in spaces with good natural airflow, using water to create a gentle, hydrating breeze. To keep your air cooler working effectively, the room needs proper ventilation; without fresh air coming in, humidity levels rise and the cooling effect drops.
Getting the most from your air cooler & Warranty Info For the absolute best results, position your air cooler near an open window or doorway. This helps maintain a steady flow of air for more effective cooling performance. It is also worth giving the honeycomb cooling pad a regular clean to keep performance consistent. For total peace of mind, this unit comes complete with a 12-month hassle-free manufacturer's warranty under normal domestic use.
