Question from Ian: Asked on 21/01/2026 The dimensions details show a 120mm diameter hole in the top of the extractor unit . Does this have a 120mm diameter spigot to accept a 120mm vent pipe? If not how does one connect the 120mm flexible ducting securely to the extractor unit?
Thanks
Hi, The CDA 60?cm Integrated Cooker Hood (model EIN60FSI) has a 120?mm diameter air outlet at the top. It does not include a fixed spigot, but the outlet is designed to accept 120?mm flexible ducting directly. To connect the duct securely, simply slide the flexible duct over the outlet collar and fasten it with a suitable clamp, such as a hose or jubilee clip. This ensures a snug, airtight connection for effective airflow.
Thank you.
Question from Linda: Asked on 12/01/2026 Can I use cut to size filters in it? How do I fasten them in?
Hi, For your CDA 60?cm integrated hood, only the specific grease and charcoal filters designed for this model should be used; cut-to-size or generic filters won’t fit properly and could reduce performance or fall out.
Thank you.
Question from Sandy: Asked on 10/01/2026 Can this be plugged into a mains socket or does it need wired in?
Hi Sandy,The CDA 60cm Integrated Cooker Hood (EIN60FSI) cannot be plugged into a standard mains socket and must be hard-wired to the mains via a double-pole switched fused spur (3?A fuse) by a qualified electrician, as it does not come with a plug and requires a fixed electrical connection for safety and regulatory compliance. Thanks!
Question from Cyril: Asked on 02/01/2026 Is it possible to remove the aluminium grease filter and clean it. There's a lot of grease caught in it.
Hi, The aluminium grease filter in your CDA EIN60FSI cooker hood can be safely removed and cleaned. Simply take it out, wash it by hand or in a dishwasher, and let it dry before putting it back. Regular cleaning keeps the hood working efficiently and safely.
Thank you.
