Hi Richard, the left hotplate can be used simultaneously with the oven, and both hotplates can work together. The right hotplate cannot be used while the oven is in operation. Thank you.

Hi Patricia,The electriQ eiQ45LOVN Mini Oven (45 L capacity) is not large enough for an 8 kg turkey; the estimated internal width (∼43 cm) and height (∼25 cm) are better suited for a medium turkey (5–6 kg). For an 8 kg bird, a minimum oven capacity of 60–70 L is required.Thanks!
