Question from bebe: Asked on 27/11/2025 How does this hood filter recirculating air? Do you need to change filter inside regularly, if so which one? As only external vent is recommended but mine isn't external.
Hi,The electriQ 60?cm Glass Canopy Cooker Hood can operate without an external vent in recirculation mode, where it pulls in cooking air, passes it through a grease filter to trap particles and an activated-carbon filter to remove odors, and then releases the cleaned air back into your kitchen. In this mode, you should regularly clean the aluminium grease filter (about once a month) and replace the carbon filter every 3–6 months, as it cannot be washed. While this setup reduces smoke, grease, and odors, it won’t remove all moisture like an external vent would. Thanks!
