When placing it between floor cupboards, you should leave approximately 5?cm (2 inches) of space on each side and at the rear for airflow. A small gap above the unit is also recommended if installing under a countertop. The plug must remain accessible, and the cooler should not be fully enclosed without ventilation, as this can reduce efficiency and may cause overheating.
