Question from Allison Rous: Asked on 19/05/2026 Can you use any type of pans on this hob or do they have to be induction pans?
Hi, This is a ceramic radiant electric hob (not induction), so it does not require induction-compatible pans. It can be used with any type of cookware, including stainless steel, aluminium, copper, cast iron and non-stick pans, as long as they have a flat, stable base suitable for use on a ceramic glass hob.
Thank you.
Question from Derek Smith: Asked on 16/12/2025 Is 870 by 500 to big a hole for this unit
Hi, The hob’s recommended cut-out is 870?×?490?mm. Your hole is 870?×?500?mm—the width is perfect, and the extra 10?mm depth is fine, so the hob will fit securely and work correctly.
Thank you.
