Hi, A 6?mm² cable with a 40?A breaker may work, but it’s slightly below the recommended 45?A breaker for this 90?cm 6-Zone Induction Hob. Using 40?A could cause the circuit to trip if all zones run at full power. For safe and reliable operation, a 45?A breaker is advised, and a qualified electrician should check the installation.

Hi Andy,The electriQ 90cm 6 Zone Induction Hob (eiQIND90FLEXPLUS) comes with a single built-in cable for installation and does not include a plug, so it must be hard-wired by a qualified electrician. There is no need for two separate cables, as the hob is designed to be connected using this one cable to a dedicated circuit.Thanks!
