Hi, The Miele Guard M1 Cat & Dog Flex Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner is suitable for hard floors such as wood, tile, and laminate. Its universal floorhead cleans gently without scratching, though it is not a dedicated hard-floor vacuum—so very fine dust or larger debris may require an extra pass. For hard floors, we recommend using the universal floorhead rather than the turbo brush, which is mainly for carpets and pet hair.
