What is an extraction rate?

Cooker hoods come with different extraction rates, which determine how quickly the air is changed in the kitchen. It’s recommended that your cooker hood should change the air around 10 times per hour. So, the larger the kitchen the higher the extraction rate.

The extraction rate your kitchen needs all depends on its size. The faster the extraction rate the faster the air will be cleaned, although the noise level may go up, so faster isn’t always better. Take a look at how to work out your extraction rate above.

Hi Matthew,The Hoover 75cm Canopy Cooker Hood (HBG750X) is designed to be hard-wired directly into your mains electrical supply and does not come with a standard plug. While it is technically possible to fit a plug, the manufacturer specifies that installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician using a dedicated fused connection, making a direct mains connection the safest and most compliant method.Thanks!

Hi, The Hoover 75?cm Canopy Cooker Hood (HBG750X) must be hard-wired to the mains with a 13?A fused spur or isolator switch and cannot be simply plugged in; installation must be done by a qualified electrician.
