Hi,Yes, the crisper drawers (or salad drawers) in the Hotpoint HBUL011.UK built-in fridge do lift out easily for cleaning.The two bottom drawers are designed with hinged lids that lift up for access and can be removed by tilting them slightly upward and pulling past the internal stop. If the fridge's door prevents the drawers from sliding out, you may need to gently roll the appliance forward until the door can open wide enough.Thanks!

But putting chicken in the bottom it froze is this right should it do that
This item has Low Frost technology to reduce freezing, but the bottom near the cooling element can be colder. If your chicken is freezing on a medium setting, try moving it to a higher shelf and set the thermostat slightly warmer.
