In summer, it provides powerful air conditioning, while in winter it offers energy efficient heating using genuine air source heat pump technology, delivering significantly lower running costs compared to traditional electric heaters. An integrated dehumidification function further helps reduce excess moisture and damp, contributing to a healthier and more comfortable indoor environment throughout the year.
With a cooling capacity equivalent to approximately 14,000 BTU, the unit is suitable for rooms of up to around 35 m², depending on insulation levels and ceiling height. Measuring just 20.5 cm deep, it offers a slim profile comparable to many split indoor units, yet without the need for a bulky outdoor condenser. Instead, the monoblock design requires only two wall ventilation openings, making it ideal for apartments, high rise buildings and renovation projects where external installations are restricted. The system uses environmentally responsible R290 refrigerant with zero ozone depletion potential and ultra low global warming impact, and thanks to its sealed construction, installation does not require an F Gas certified engineer under EU regulations. As with any heat pump-based heater, the performance can reduce at lower outdoor temperatures, and as such it is advisable to have supplementary heating available when outdoor temperatures are sub zero, especially if the room is poorly insulated

Hi, The KOOL-SMART15HP has a cooling temperature range of 16°C to 30°C, with 16°C as the lowest selectable setting on the thermostat control. This is confirmed in the manufacturer specifications. Actual room temperatures achieved will depend on installation conditions, room size, insulation, and heat load.
