Hi Lisa,This Rangemaster 110?cm hood can be used for both external extraction (ducted) and internal recirculation. For recirculation, separate charcoal filters are required to efficiently remove cooking odors. The smooth black enamel surface is easy to clean with hot, soapy water and a soft cloth—avoid using corrosive or abrasive cleaners.Thanks!
