Hi,For the Rangemaster LEIHDC110SC 110?cm chimney hood with a 150?mm outlet, the recommended maximum horizontal ducting run is about 3?metres using rigid pipe with no more than one 90° bend. Additional bends or longer runs reduce airflow, so each extra 90° bend typically shortens the effective duct length by roughly 1?metre. For longer or more complex routes, an inline booster fan may be needed to maintain proper extraction.Thanks!

Hi, The Rangemaster 110?cm chimney hood cannot vent air directly out of the side of the chimney cover. It is designed to vent externally only by connecting ducting to an external wall or roof outlet, or to operate in recirculation mode using charcoal filters. Side-venting through the chimney cover is not a supported or approved method for this model.

Hi Jim, yes, this chimney hood can be installed 90 cm above your range cooker. The minimum safety distance between the cooker top and this chimney hood is 65 cm, so 90 cm is within a safe and effective operating range. Thank you.

Hi Sheena,Using recirculation mode for the Rangemaster LEIHDC110SC is technically feasible and easier to install, but it is less effective than external extraction because it retains moisture and heat in the kitchen. Recirculation may also not meet UK Building Regulation Part F requirements for kitchen ventilation, making external venting the preferred option for superior air quality and compliance.Thanks!
