Question from Preston: Asked on 09/04/2026 Hi, can I install electrical water heater to the shower unit instead of mains hot water, my patio is approximately 20m away from the house and pressure in the house isn’t great as it is.
Hi, The Namara outdoor shower is designed to be supplied with separate hot and cold water feeds from an external source and does not include any built-in heating element or electrical heating capability, as confirmed in the product manual; therefore, it cannot heat water itself, and any use of an electric water heater would require a separate, appropriately specified and professionally installed unit supplying hot water externally, while ensuring compatibility with water pressure and full compliance with UK electrical and water safety regulations, including RCD protection and proper backflow prevention.
