Hi, The AEG OB6SM171DB built-in microwave is a standard (solo) microwave oven and, as confirmed by the official manufacturer’s manual, does not include a grill function; therefore, it cannot operate microwave and grill modes either separately or in combination, and a different model would be required if grill or combination cooking is needed.

Hi Neil, for safety and warranty reasons, you should not cut off the plug on this microwave to connect it directly to a fused spur yourself. If you require a permanent connection, it must be carried out by a qualified electrician using the correct cable, fused isolator, and proper earthing in line with UK wiring regulations. Thank you.
