But before I buy them at the end of the week, I'm wondering how do they connect to the television. Do they sync to it from the glasses or do you need a transmitter connect to the TV to allow the glasses to connect?
I'm not sure how this television works so before I buy the glasses for £70 I want to know how they connect to the television first...

Question from Dan: Asked on 22/01/2012 I just tested this with an MKV from a USB memory stick and get a format not supported error, yet earlier in this Questions thread Andy said this TV will play MKV. What am I doing wrong?

May we suggest you please press play on the remote control when you see the format not supported error. You should then be able to play the movie
