The Steelmore HKR-6S is a 6 burner commercial natural gas range cooker with an oven below, for restaurants and cafes cooking several dishes on the hob at once. Total output is 47kW (211,000 BTU), and the oven takes GN 2/1 with two shelves supplied.
Installation and Connection
Must be installed by a Gas Safe registered engineer. It is supplied for Natural Gas, with LPG conversion jets in the box, and connects at the rear. It is not suitable for mobile catering such as vans or food trucks. The range measures H105 x W92 x D86cm, weighs 167kg and stands on four castors, two of which lock, so it can be pulled out for floor cleaning.
Day-to-Day Use and Cleaning
Each burner has an Italian gas valve with flame failure protection, and the oven lights with a push-button piezo igniter. The oven runs from 100°C to 250°C and has a bottom-hinged, drop-down front door. The 304 stainless steel body, integrated splashback and removable cast iron pan supports make wiping down after service straightforward.
